For this week’s video review, we visited Carlsbad Tavern. Located in Scottsdale just south of Osborn Road on the east side of Hayden Road. Carlsbad Tavern’s mission was to “bring unique New Mexican cuisine to Scottsdale diners,” and this family-owned restaurant has been doing just that for nearly two decades. The restaurant is named in homage to Carlsbad Caverns National Park in southern New Mexico complete with bat themed decor.

The sign out front touts New Mexican “grub,” but do not let that dissuade you. As the guys say in the video review, the staff at Carlsbad Tavern “hit it out of the park” with the quality of food and attention to detail in the preparation of each dish and drink. You can sit inside in their welcoming New Mexico themed dining area and bar. Or since the weather is (hopefully) turning we recommend their unique and expansive award-winning bat cave themed patio. Then enjoy your favorite menu item with a local micro-brewed draft beer, cocktail or a wine pairing, if you fancy!

In the video review, Tony P stepped in for Troy and dropped some major knowledge. The boys enjoyed some of Carlsbad Tavern’s best menu items as well as a couple of their signature cocktails. Plus, plus those desserts. Wow! The guys enjoyed themselves and are already making plans to go back for their excellent happy hour or late night eats!

We hope that you enjoy the video review and visit Carlsbad Tavern for yourself for some great New Mexico Grub! Comment below your favorite menu item that we tried for a chance to win a gift card.
